Community Violence Solutions' Stepping Stones Counseling Center specializes in providing counseling for people whose lives have been affected by sexual assault.  Services are available to child, adolescent and adult survivors of recent or past rape, incest, molestation or other forms of sexual abuse, as well as to friends or family members of sexual assault survivors. In a compassionate and non-judgmental setting, clients are helped to heal and to gain the self-confidence and understanding to move forward with their lives.

Stepping Stones provides comprehensive treatment for approximately 400 individuals each year from offices in San Pablo, Antioch, Concord, and San Rafael. Services include:

• Individual, Child, and Family Therapy
• Support Groups for Adults, Teens, & Children
• Parenting Education
• Family Empowerment Program
  
• Case Management

Staff
Our counseling staff consists of licensed mental health professionals and advanced mental health interns. All are specialists in understanding and addressing trauma issues associated with sexual abuse, as well as in working with other therapeutic needs and concerns.

Cost
Availability of services is not dependent on a client's ability to pay.  We are able to accept MediCal and Victims of Crime Compensation as well as other private insurance.
